This variety can be grown shallow, but it prefers some room to spread laterally. So a wide pot is preferred and, in the ground, or raised beds. Containers will work fine as well if size is an issue, you can control height and growth but increasing pot size as it matures and grows. Outdoors from seed harvest mid to late October. If cloned from mother harvest mid sept to late sept. As with any true heirloom or landrace, picking the plants too early is just a crime. So, if you don’t have patience, pick something else. As with all great things, the best things come to those who can wait. The Purple and Red Variation of the line, draws out more of the red Oaxaca traits from the mothers and Purple and Purple Reds from the Narrow Leaf Afghani Nangarhar males used. So with these additions, more reds, thicker buds and larger yields. It was magic before and now its just added pleasure to grow and smoke. Endless fascination watching these plants grow.
